Total miles portal to portal 1694. Lots of side trips add up to lots of miles but time well spent. It's nice to be back home.

On A Roll
The end of another long day. We stopped at Brax Landing for a bite before coming back to the beach for the last time. The lobster roll was so big we just shared one. The place had a friendly staff and a nice view.
Tower of Power
We walked to see the Pilgrims Monument after lunch. It is 253 feet tall. You can climb to the top. We were up to the challenge!
Chow down in P-Town
First stop in Provincetown was lunch. The lobster avocado wrap was delicious with a cloudy but beautiful view.
Beer Here
The second Hyannis stop was the home of Cape Cod Beer. One tour daily at 11:00 but tastings any time. For 5 bucks you get 5 samples from their 9 beers. If you work it out with your partner you can taste everything by sharing...and you keep your glass. You cannot get Cape Cod Beer anywhere off of the Cape so it was all new to us!!! Oh yeah....this was at 10:30 a.m.
Chipping For Dough
After breakfast we headed down to Hyannis to a make a couple of stops.
First up was the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory tour! Not much of a tour...we just looked at workers through windows. It looks like hard, hot, steamy work. The gift shop was fun. FREE STUFF!!!
Tea And Sea
We started the morning with breakfast on the deck at Inn By The Sea. It's just the continental breakfast included with the stay but coffee, tea, and fresh muffins are fine by me.

Cape Cod
We are all checked in and enjoying our new location in Harwich Port for the next few days. What a find!
The Indians?
This park guide thought we were asking about the CLEVELAND Indians and not the ones that helped the Pilgrims. He thinks the Tribe stinks. Go Sawks.
Sail On Sailer
After the Pilgrim Museum we walked to the Mayflower II. It's not the original but is close enough for us to understand how difficult the voyage was for 102 Pilgrims and the crew of the boat. I found a stowaway.

How Can A Girl Say No??
Here is Cheri schmoozing a guy out of some free harbor cruise tix. It's a story you'll need to get from her.
Cream Pie
We made a pit stop at the Omni Parker House Hotel for some Bostom Cream Pie. This was the hotel that came up with that delicious concoction. (They also invented Parker House Rolls).
These pies were GREAT!!!!!
Continued on the Freedom Trail
Quacking Up
Old Gloria was the duck we were on when we took a tour of Boston. It seemed extra pertinent since it's the anniversary of D-Day. The best part was when we drove right in to the Charles River and made like a boat!!!
Here are some pick from the Charles.

A gorgeous night to sit outside. We ate a a late night dinner at The Times. Beer and Nachos. Those are my two beers! Kurt had two of his own. Thanks to the severs for a mix up.
The Freedom Trail
We picked up the Freedom Trail after lunch. We made a stop at Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and the Old South Meeting Hall. We booked our Duck Tour for tomorrow. It has been a busy day! What to do about dinner?!? Follow the Freedom Trail!
Our Boston Adventure Begins
After our "driving tour" of Boston to find our hotel, we began our miles of walking. First stop a late lunch on the Boston Harbor.
